About Asiphumeze
I’m a stage performer, a screen actor, a writer/poet and a filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa. I trained in a community performing theatre as means to make my way into acting and with the help of my mentors and the work that I put in, I ended up being recognised by Baxter theatre as most promising actress. This motivated me into doing more for myself, so constant training and self care took me to esteemed stages with well known people when I made top 10 finalist in aperformance competition with over 50 participants. Not only that but a standing ovation on my performance and recognition from a Talent agency that I am currently represented by. I want to teach because it helps me pour my passion and my knowledge to those in need of lessons. I believe in hard work and dedication and creating space for those who want to learn from me.

my lessons are focussed on the actor’s psychological and physical state before any action. I teach the importance of knowing one’s personality through daily prompts and encourage physical perusal through breathing exercises and stillness. My lessons provide one with abilities to truly embody characters and access their world.
