My name is Edward Herrera, I am a Helicopter Maintenance
Engineer and aviation instructor, with twenty-five years of
experience in rotary wing maintenance, in different
helicopter models and manufacturers such as Bell
Helicopter, Airbus Helicopter, Agusta Westland Leonardo
helicopters, and Sikorsky.
As a maintenance engineer, my experience has been
developed in different companies and operations, filling positions as maintenance engineer, team leader, and maintenance supervisor. I am an aircraft licensed engineer ICAO II, FAA A&P, GCAA, and EASA B1, with type rating on
Bell 212, Bell 412 series, Airbus Helicopter H 145, and AW139
helicopter. In military models Bell UH-1HII, Bell UH-1N.
As an instructor, my experience has been developed as a
technical instructor in the United States Air Force to type
rating engineers programs, Colombian Police Aviation
School, for pilots and engineers, IATA aviation college,
Colombian Cooperative University, and San Buenaventura
University, in aerospace engineers aviation program. My
type ratings as an instructor are aviation systems, power
plant, and the type rating helicopters.
