Starting from the user interface I will illustrate all the main functions of 3dsMax, only those necessary to obtain the best results, leaving out the superfluous ones. Particular attention will be given to 3D modeling, a perfect topology makes the difference between a mediocre product and an excellent one. I will review the main modifiers and the various mapping techniques of 3D objects (UVW map and advanced UV Unwrap) to get to lighting, photorealitic rendering and final compositing.
