About Bozhena
I am a Bulgarian folk singer, performer, and vocal teacher based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
With more than 20 years of experience in singing and over 10 years of professional performance and teaching practice, I help students develop a healthy, expressive, and authentic voice while discovering the richness of Bulgarian folk music.
I hold a Master's degree in Bulgarian Folk Singing and Vocal Pedagogy from the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, where I also taught for four years, working with students of different ages and levels.
Alongside my academic and artistic background, I have completed Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) training with Prof. Anne-Marie Speed. This allows me to combine traditional Bulgarian folk singing techniques with modern voice science and healthy vocal training methods.
Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced singer, a music student, or a professional performer, I will help you build confidence, improve your vocal technique, and develop your unique artistic voice in a supportive and inspiring environment.

My goal is not only to teach songs, but to help you understand how your voice works so that you can sing with confidence, freedom, and authenticity.
