About Bianca
I have completed Intro to Psychology at Thomas College and developed a strong interest in how psychological principles influence performance, motivation, and personal growth. As a competitive wrestler with eight years of karate experience, along with participation in cross country and track, I have spent much of my life training both physically and mentally. Through these sports, I’ve learned firsthand how confidence, discipline, resilience, and focus directly impact performance.
Balancing academics and athletics has given me a real understanding of performance pressure, setbacks, goal setting, and mental preparation. My interest in sports psychology comes from experiencing how powerful mindset can be in competition and everyday life. I aim to help students and athletes better understand psychological concepts while applying them in practical, meaningful ways that improve both academic success and athletic performance.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. I focus on foundational sports psychology concepts such as motivation, confidence, stress management, focus, goal setting, and performance mindset. For students taking psychology courses, I break down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations and connect them to real-life athletic and everyday experiences.
For athletes, sessions are practical and application-based. We discuss mental preparation strategies, handling performance anxiety, building resilience after setbacks, and developing consistent routines that improve focus and confidence. I believe learning works best when it feels relatable, so I combine academic principles with real athletic experience to make each session engaging and useful.
Lessons can include concept review, discussion, study support, mindset exercises, and goal planning. My approach is encouraging but structured — helping students not only understand psychology, but apply it in meaningful ways.
