About Imoh

I am a young graduate who has had some private tutelage experience with a significant number of pupils and students, and also had a full time teaching experience during my service year. I started teaching after I graduated from secondary school in 2014. Though, I was not paid, but I had a strong passion for teaching. The journey of being paid for teaching began in 2016, when I was in 200 level (first semester)
From 2016 to 2019, I privately tutored pupils and students from Havillah Basic Private Schools and Eucharistic Model College,both situated in Ilorin, Kwara state. I taught subjects like Mathematics, English Language/Phonics, Economics, Furthermaths, Statistics and Accounting. A few of the pupils and students were about to write their Common Entrance Examinations and Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (S.S.C.E).
During my service year ( December 2019- October 2020), I became a full time teacher after I was posted to Tiny Tots Private School in Jos, Plateau state. I taught the Junior and Senior secondary school students Mathematics, Geography, Commerce and Business Studies.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on starting from the known topics to the unknown topics of a particular subject. I break down and simplify each topic, and provide at least two genuine solutions to solving problems related to any of the topics.
My teaching style is also based on motivating the students through providing incentives to pupils and students that get a question asked correctly or, perform excellently in an extemporaneous test in class.
My classes are always less rigid in the sense that, every student is allowed and expected to make their contributions and ask questions regarding each topic taught in the class.
