About Nirmell

My name is Nirmell, and I am an astrobiologist with a strong foundation in astronomy and space science. I have spent over two decades teaching science across international schools, private tutoring centers, and online learning environments, working with students of different ages and learning styles.

I believe science should be understood, not memorized. My goal is to help students develop curiosity, clarity, and confidence in scientific thinking. Astronomy and astrobiology are ideal subjects for this, as they connect physics, chemistry, biology, and critical reasoning into a single, coherent view of the Universe.

In my lessons, I aim to guide students to think like scientists, to ask questions, examine evidence, and explore ideas deeply. Whether a student is learning astronomy for enrichment, school support, or early exposure to scientific research thinking, my focus is always on building strong conceptual understanding in a structured and supportive way.

I value professionalism, clear communication, and thoughtful teaching, and I am committed to providing a learning experience that is engaging, rigorous, and meaningful.

About the lesson

My astronomy lessons use concept-based teaching, supported by visuals, simulations, and guided discussion. The focus is on understanding ideas deeply rather than memorising facts. Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and encourage questioning, reasoning, and scientific thinking.

I use a structured approach I call Mind-Expansion Training (MET), which integrates astronomy with astrobiology concepts to promote deeper exploration and strengthen overall STEM understanding. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, and courses are organised into 10 structured modules.

Lessons are suitable for primary and secondary students aged 8–17, particularly those seeking enrichment, curiosity-driven learning, or early exposure to astronomy and astrobiology. Lessons are conducted online.
