About Magdalena

I am a professional Flute instructor with over 14 years of teaching experience, guiding School students, College students, and working professionals. I enjoy helping students learn flute through structured lessons and positive guidance.

My teaching approach emphasises strong basics and musical understanding. I focus on correct posture, breath control, finger coordination, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Lessons are customised to match each student’s pace and goals.

I believe effective learning comes from clear communication and regular practice. I explain concepts in simple words and provide step-by-step support. Accountability is maintained through progress tracking and regular feedback. Integrity is an important value in my teaching style.

Along with flute lessons, I also teach music theory, notation reading, rhythm training, and performance skills. I support students with exam preparation and stage confidence.

About the lesson

I teach flute using a methodology based on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, designed to help students develop both technical mastery and expressive skill. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, experience, and learning style. Clear communication allows me to teach techniques such as breathing, articulation, fingering, posture, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear, accessible manner. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and actively participate in shaping their lessons.

Creativity is central to my approach. I encourage students to explore different musical genres, experiment with improvisation, and compose their own short pieces, fostering both technical skill and personal expression. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, interests, and challenges, making learning personalised, motivating, and effective.

Alongside flute instruction, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, sight-reading, and ear training, helping students build strong, well-rounded musicianship. My methodology ensures students gain technical expertise, expressive performance skills, and confidence, while developing a lifelong appreciation for music and a deep connection to their instrument.
