About Liam
As a Piano tutor with 7 years of experience, I enjoy helping college students improve their musical abilities through practical and enjoyable lessons. My goal is to make every class meaningful while helping students gain confidence in their playing.
My teaching style combines patience, understanding, and active learning. I explain every lesson in clear, simple English and use practical examples that make learning comfortable. I encourage students to stay curious and develop good practice habits.
I use innovative methods such as digital music resources, rhythm activities, ear training, interactive exercises, and personalized lesson plans. These methods help students improve their understanding while keeping learning enjoyable.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, rhythm, posture, and expressive performance. I regularly monitor progress and provide practical suggestions that help students reach their musical goals.

My teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, supportive, and enjoyable. My classes are carefully structured to help students build confidence while mastering piano techniques.
Students first master posture, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory before progressing to scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, expressive performance, sight reading, and advanced piano skills.
I use demonstrations, guided practice, listening exercises, and enjoyable activities to explain every concept. Students receive personalized practice schedules and continuous feedback to support steady improvement.
Students also explore different genres while improving creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and musical expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation.
My objective is to create a positive learning environment where students develop confidence and lifelong musical skills.
