About Nova

With more than 8 years of flute teaching experience, I have trained beginners and advanced learners from different backgrounds. I teach school children, college students, and working professionals who want systematic and professional guidance. My teaching style is patient, motivating, and result-oriented.

I focus on breath support, tone clarity, hand positioning, and rhythm precision. I gradually introduce advanced techniques to enhance musical expression and performance quality. In addition, I teach music theory, notation reading, scale formation, and ear training to strengthen overall musicianship.

I provide structured practice plans and monitor progress regularly. My special ability is identifying technical challenges early and guiding students with simple corrective exercises. I aim to build confident and skilled flute players.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for flute combines Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to help students grow musically and confidently.

Every student has unique strengths. I identify whether a student responds better to visual guidance, listening examples, step-by-step instruction, or creative exploration. Based on this, I customize exercises and practice routines.

Flute requires strong breath control, embouchure stability, finger coordination, tone clarity, and dynamic control. I emphasize long-tone practice, scale patterns, articulation exercises, and phrasing techniques to build a solid foundation. For beginners, I focus on producing a clean sound and correct posture. For advanced learners, I work on musical interpretation, vibrato control, and performance techniques.

I remain flexible in lesson planning. Some students aim for exams, some for stage performances, and others for personal enjoyment. I adapt repertoire and exercises accordingly. Collaboration is encouraged through duet playing, rhythmic clapping exercises, and discussion about musical ideas.

Positivity is central to my classroom. I motivate students to practice consistently without fear of mistakes. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities.

Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm studies, ear training, notation reading, and basic improvisation. My goal is to develop disciplined, expressive, and confident musicians.
