About Evelien
I’ve been an artist and a painter for over 25 years. In addition, I have always taught, in private and in groups. I help you step by step to create what you want: a beautiful painting in your own handwriting. If you start creating art, you explore your own themes. In the process you will find out what you actually want. I know classical techniques and know which colors and materials you can use best: tips and tricks that will make your painting look good.

You choose your style and subject. I will tell you layer by layer how you can implement your plan. How, that depends on your wishes. Sometimes it is better to make a drawing first. Other times not. Together we will find out where your affinity lies and this is how you develop your own style. You may also receive homework assignments. The result is important, but fine working is even more important. I want to make sure that you surprise yourself with what you make. My lessons are a good preparation for the art academy! You must learn to draw or paint before that time. But in your own handwriting! That is possible with me.
