About Keiska

I’m an Art and Advertising graduate from NYCCT with a lifelong passion for drawing that began when I was seven years old. I have five years of experience tutoring both children and adults and enjoy making art approachable through clear, step-by-step instruction. My teaching experience has helped me learn how to adapt lessons to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles. I especially enjoy helping beginners build confidence, strengthen their foundational skills, and discover their own creative abilities.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Keiska! I teach children, teens, homeschool students, and adult learners the foundational elements and principles of art through clear, step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice.

Each lesson includes a simple explanation, demonstration, guided practice, and a creative project that helps students apply what they have learned. My approach focuses on helping students understand how art works so they can draw with greater confidence, make stronger creative choices, and build skills they can use in drawing, painting, and design.

Lessons are designed for beginners and developing artists who want a strong foundation before moving into more advanced techniques. Book a lesson today and start building the skills and confidence to create art with greater purpose and creativity.

O Taste and See Delight

Hi, I know Keisha for approximately 10 years. Over the years I have asked Keisha to perform various tasks for my business. I have found her to be efficient, prompt and knowledgeable in various things. Some other quality traits that stand out in her are integrity, loyalty and passion in whatever she put her hands too. I still utilize her experience and expertise to date. She is a true asset to any one she comes in contact with.

Indeed, Keisha is a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and thorough teacher. She teaches with confidence and care. Keisha taught my children and me how to draw and we were blessed. What I like about Keisha is that she patiently takes her time to explain difficult materials so that the students can understand. A teacher like Keisha motivates students to want to learn and have confidence in themselves. She is a tremendous asset to any team!
