About Nadia
I'm a Swiss artist, educator and cultural producer with over 20 years of experience in art education and the contemporary art world. I hold an MFA from Central Saint Martins and a PGCE from the University of Roehampton, London.
After more than two decades living and working in London, teaching in schools, universities and institutions including Sotheby's Institute of Art, I relocated to Morocco, where I'm now immersed in its vibrant and evolving contemporary art scene.
Throughout my career, I've moved between making my own work, teaching Art and Art History, curating exhibitions, working with galleries and museums, and developing independent cultural projects. This combination of artistic practice, education and direct involvement in the art world is something I bring naturally into my teaching.
Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. What excites me most is the exchange of ideas - sharing what I know while discovering how somebody else sees, interprets and questions the world. My students have continually surprised, challenged and inspired me, and I believe the best learning happens through genuine curiosity and conversation.
I'm particularly passionate about making Art History accessible beyond academic settings. You don't need to be an expert to engage with art, develop your own interpretations or discover something that completely changes the way you see things.
For me, art is an ongoing conversation - across centuries, cultures, disciplines and people. And I love inviting others into that conversation!

Art History is not just about looking at the past - it's about understanding the world around us, discovering new perspectives and making connections between art, culture, politics and everyday life.
My lessons are conversational, engaging and shaped around your interests, curiosity and individual goals. Whether you're studying Art History, preparing for exams, exploring contemporary art or simply fascinated by artists and their ideas, we'll develop our sessions together.
We might explore a particular artist or movement, look closely at artworks, discuss exhibitions, investigate the relationship between art and society, or discover artistic practices from different cultures and parts of the world.
I'm particularly interested in modern and contemporary art, experimental practices, visual culture and the ways artists challenge established ideas. Having worked for over 20 years as an artist, educator and cultural producer, I bring first-hand experience of the contemporary art world into our discussions.
I believe learning should inspire, empower and free the mind. There is no need for any previous knowledge of Art History - just curiosity and a willingness to look, question, discuss and discover.
From complete beginners to university students and passionate art enthusiasts, everyone is welcome. No two students are the same, and no two lessons should be either!
