About Pilisa
I am a young woman passion about teaching and making the world a better place for all. I am a third year student currently in pursuit of an undergraduate degree at the University of Cape Town, majoring in politics. In politics we write a lot of essays which means that you need to have good English writing skills, and because of my experience with writing essays I can assure you that I have excellent writing skills. This is important when trying to teach students English as you have to ensure that before they can attempt to read in English they are able to write in English. Moreover, in politics we also engage in a lot of debates and this means one has to ensure that they can speak English fluently, because of my experience with debates I can assure my students that they will not only be able to write in English but they will also be able to read English fluently.
