About Harper
My interest in architecture began with observing urban spaces and the relationship between design, function, and human experience. This led me to pursue a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Design. Over 8 years, I have helped students develop technical drawing skills, design thinking, and spatial creativity, fostering both analytical and artistic growth.
I teach with clarity, patience, and encouragement. Lessons combine structured guidance, hands-on exercises, and conceptual exploration to ensure students build confidence and competence. I encourage experimentation, critical reflection, and independent design thinking while providing continuous support.
Outside the classroom, I stay involved in urban planning research, sustainability studies, and professional design projects. This allows me to integrate contemporary insights into lessons. Seeing students gain confidence, creative expression, and technical mastery is immensely rewarding. My aim is to nurture thoughtful, innovative architects ready to create meaningful spaces.

Architecture is most engaging when learners translate abstract ideas into tangible, functional spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial visualization, structural planning, material selection, and conceptual development. I integrate sketching, modeling, and digital visualization tools to facilitate hands-on understanding and creative exploration. Students are encouraged to experiment, question assumptions, and develop a confident design voice while learning technical precision and aesthetic awareness.
Lesson plans adapt to each student’s level. Beginners focus on fundamental sketching, proportion, and conceptual articulation. Intermediate learners explore 3D modeling, material properties, and design composition to enhance problem-solving and visual communication. Advanced learners tackle sustainable design strategies, portfolio development, presentation techniques, and complex project planning to prepare for higher education, competitions, or professional practice. Each session emphasizes guided practice, iterative feedback, and creative exploration for mastery.
Architecture lessons foster creativity, critical thinking, and spatial reasoning. Students gain the ability to visualize and execute designs, solve structural challenges, and communicate concepts effectively. My goal is to empower learners to merge artistic expression with disciplined design thinking, preparing them for future academic and professional success.
