About Simon
My journey in architecture began with a fascination for the built environment, creative expression, and functional design. I earned a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Interior Design to gain comprehensive technical knowledge and conceptual understanding. Over 8 years, I have mentored students in developing strong design foundations, visual literacy, and creative confidence while fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
I focus on individualized, supportive teaching, adapting lessons to student needs and interests. I integrate hands-on exercises, discussions, and project-based learning to help students cultivate both technical competence and personal design style. Encouraging experimentation, reflection, and critical thinking is central to my methodology.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged in architectural practice, sustainability research, and creative projects to bring real-world insights into lessons. Witnessing students develop creativity, confidence, and a deep understanding of design principles continues to inspire my teaching and motivates me to support each learner in achieving their full potential.
