About Daisy

My journey in architecture began with a fascination for the built environment, from historic landmarks to contemporary structures. I pursued a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Sustainable Urban Design, combining technical training with creative exploration. Over 9 years, I have guided students through design thinking, spatial reasoning, and portfolio development, helping them gain confidence in both creative expression and practical problem-solving.

I approach teaching with patience, encouragement, and tailored guidance. Lessons incorporate sketching, modeling, design critique, and conceptual exploration to ensure that each student develops both technical skills and creative confidence. I adapt explanations to individual learning styles, encouraging students to question, experiment, and refine their work thoughtfully.

Outside of teaching, I engage with contemporary architectural research, sustainability practices, and professional design projects. This enriches my lessons and provides real-world examples that enhance learning. Teaching architecture is profoundly fulfilling because I witness students grow creatively, intellectually, and professionally. Helping learners translate their ideas into well-executed designs and find their unique voice is the most rewarding part of my work.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes inspiring when learners can visualize spaces and understand how design principles shape human experience. I focus on spatial reasoning, structural understanding, aesthetic composition, and creative problem-solving. Lessons include sketching exercises, model-making, portfolio development, and conceptual discussions to help learners cultivate both technical skill and creative vision. Each session encourages experimentation, reflection, and thoughtful design decisions, building confidence in expressing ideas visually and conceptually.

Lesson structure is tailored to the student’s level. Beginners learn drawing basics, proportions, and conceptual design through guided exercises and visual aids. Intermediate learners refine model-making, design communication, and project planning, exploring functional and aesthetic considerations. Advanced learners focus on professional-level design projects, sustainable architecture, portfolio presentation, and architectural critique, preparing them for higher education or professional challenges. Every lesson combines practical work, feedback, and critical discussion to develop comprehensive skill sets.

Architecture lessons also nurture problem-solving, observation, and creativity beyond design tasks. As students practice thinking spatially and conceptually, they develop patience, analytical reasoning, and confidence in visual expression. My aim is to help learners grow into skilled, thoughtful, and imaginative designers who can translate ideas into impactful, well-considered spaces while developing their own unique creative voice.
