About Xavier
My passion for architecture began with fascination for how spaces influence human behaviour, comfort, and creativity. This curiosity led me to complete a B.Arch in Architectural Design and later an M.Arch in Urban Sustainability, where I explored both artistic design and responsible planning for modern cities. Over the past 13 years, I have guided students through architectural learning with patience, warmth, and structured support that helps them transform uncertainty into creative clarity.
My teaching approach is encouraging, adaptable, and concept-driven. I help students break down large design projects into manageable steps, from early sketches to final presentations. I encourage learners to ask questions freely, develop their own architectural voice, and build confidence through practice and thoughtful critique.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with architecture through sustainability research, urban design exploration, and continuous creative development. Teaching architecture is meaningful because I witness students discover their strengths and express ideas with confidence. My goal is to support learners as they grow into thoughtful, skilled, and inspired designers.

Architecture becomes truly inspiring when students understand that it is more than drawing buildings, it is about shaping spaces that affect human life, emotion, and community. In my lessons, I guide learners through design thinking, spatial planning, form development, proportion, materials, and architectural storytelling with calm and supportive structure. I focus on helping students balance creativity with technical clarity, so their ideas can grow into meaningful design concepts. Each session encourages exploration, observation, and confidence in expressing architectural vision. My goal is to make architecture feel approachable, exciting, and deeply rewarding.
Lessons are always adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on sketching basics, architectural vocabulary, simple composition, and creative confidence. Intermediate learners strengthen model planning, structural understanding, project organisation, and presentation methods. Advanced students refine portfolio development, sustainable design strategies, studio critique preparation, and complex architectural narratives. Every lesson includes step-by-step guidance and feedback to support steady improvement.
Architecture lessons also build imagination, discipline, and professional communication skills. Students learn to express ideas visually, solve spatial challenges thoughtfully, and develop confidence in their creative identity. Many learners become more observant and inspired by the built world around them. My mission is to help students grow into confident designers with strong architectural foundations.
