About Lars
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for how spaces shape human behaviour, comfort, and creativity. This passion led me to earn a B.Arch in Architectural Studies and later an M.Arch in Sustainable Urban Design, where I explored both artistic design practice and responsible planning for modern environments. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through architecture with patience, warmth, and structured support that helps them grow creatively and academically.
My teaching approach is encouraging, adaptable, and concept-driven. I help students break down complex projects into clear steps, from initial sketches to final presentations. I encourage learners to ask questions freely, develop their own design voice, and build confidence through practice and thoughtful critique.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through sustainability research, urban design exploration, and continual portfolio development. Teaching architecture is meaningful because I see students transform uncertainty into creative clarity. My goal is to support learners as they discover their architectural potential and express ideas with confidence.

Architecture becomes truly inspiring when students understand it as the process of shaping environments that influence daily life, emotion, and community. In my lessons, I guide learners through architectural design principles such as form, proportion, space planning, material awareness, and visual communication. I focus on helping students balance creativity with structure, showing how design ideas grow from early sketches into thoughtful concepts. Each session encourages exploration, critical thinking, and confidence in expressing design vision. My goal is to make architecture approachable, exciting, and meaningful.
Lessons are adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on sketching foundations, design vocabulary, spatial awareness, and creative confidence. Intermediate learners strengthen project organisation, architectural theory understanding, model development, and presentation skills. Advanced students work on portfolio refinement, sustainable strategies, studio critique preparation, and complex design narratives. Every lesson includes guidance, feedback, and encouragement that supports growth.
Architecture lessons also build observation, imagination, and professional communication skills. Students learn to express ideas visually and think critically about space. My mission is to help learners develop a strong design identity while building disciplined architectural habits.
