About Marina
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for space, structure, and the interplay between design and human experience. I earned a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Urban Design, gaining expertise in creative design and technical principles. Over 10 years, I have helped students at all levels develop design skills, critical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas through architecture.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, designing lessons that combine structured guidance, conceptual discussion, sketching, modeling, and critique tailored to each student’s style. I emphasize creativity, iterative learning, and the practical application of architectural principles.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with architectural research, sustainability studies, and urban design projects. This enriches my lessons with contemporary perspectives and practical insights. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students grow creatively, develop expressive clarity, and gain the confidence to approach design challenges thoughtfully and imaginatively.

Architecture becomes fascinating when students understand how concepts evolve into tangible, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial reasoning, conceptual planning, material knowledge, model-making, and architectural presentation. I encourage creativity, critical thinking, and iterative problem-solving, helping students combine technical precision with imaginative exploration. Lessons involve sketching, modeling, project analysis, and guided critique to foster holistic design thinking, empowering learners to develop both practical skills and artistic expression.
Lesson structure adapts to each student’s level. Beginners focus on fundamentals such as sketching, proportions, basic composition, and visual problem-solving. Intermediate learners explore advanced drawing techniques, spatial analysis, material application, and conceptual refinement. Advanced learners engage with portfolio development, presentation skills, design narratives, and complex architectural projects. Each session emphasizes iterative learning, conceptual clarity, and creative experimentation, enabling students to grow in confidence, technical skill, and expressive ability.
Architecture lessons also enhance observation, analytical reasoning, and design communication. Students learn to articulate ideas visually, solve spatial challenges methodically, and design with innovation and purpose.
