About Genevieve
My passion for architecture began with an appreciation for urban spaces, innovative structures, and sustainable design. I pursued a B.Arch in Urban Design followed by an M.Arch in Sustainable Architecture, equipping me with a deep understanding of design principles, material science, and environmental strategies. Over 10 years, I have guided students across varying levels, helping them transform abstract ideas into tangible designs while cultivating confidence, creativity, and technical skill.
I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. My methodology combines sketching, 3D modeling, case study analysis, project planning, and critical discussion, fostering both technical proficiency and creative exploration. I encourage learners to reflect, iterate, and problem-solve, nurturing their ability to design thoughtfully and innovatively.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with contemporary architectural research, sustainable design strategies, and urban development projects, which enrich lessons with real-world applications and current trends. Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners grow from conceptual uncertainty to confident expression, gaining both artistic insight and professional preparedness for the dynamic world of architectural design.

Architecture comes alive when learners understand how ideas transform into meaningful spaces that blend aesthetics, function, and innovation. My lessons focus on design principles, spatial reasoning, material selection, and creative visualization, combined with real-world case studies and project-based exercises. I emphasize conceptual clarity, practical application, and iterative design, fostering confidence and creativity in students while showing them how professional architects balance imaginative vision with structural integrity. Each session encourages exploration, experimentation, and reflective critique, cultivating a rich learning environment where learners are free to ask questions, propose ideas, and develop a strong design intuition.
Lesson plans are tailored for different experience levels. Beginners learn sketching, proportion, basic modeling, and conceptual development. Intermediate learners explore advanced modeling, material application, site analysis, and design presentation. Advanced learners focus on complex design challenges, portfolio preparation, sustainable design strategies, and comprehensive architectural project development. Each session combines hands-on practice, conceptual discussion, and feedback, ensuring learners strengthen their creative, technical, and analytical abilities.
