About Bhavna

My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Architecture followed by a Master’s degree in Urban Design, where I developed a deep understanding of spatial planning and human-centered design. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided students in developing both creative confidence and technical discipline through consistent mentorship. I approach teaching with patience and openness, understanding that creativity grows best in an encouraging environment. I focus on helping students articulate ideas clearly and refine their design process step by step. My role is to guide rather than impose, allowing learners to discover their own architectural voice. Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged in design research, urban studies, and conceptual sketching. These activities enrich my lessons and help me bring real-world relevance into the classroom. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I see students grow into thoughtful designers capable of expressing ideas with clarity and purpose.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes impactful when students understand how ideas transform into functional and expressive spaces. My lessons focus on introducing design thinking, spatial awareness, form development, and contextual understanding in a structured yet creative manner. I guide learners to balance imagination with practicality, helping them understand how design decisions influence human experience and environment.

Beginners learn the fundamentals of drawing, proportion, spatial perception, and conceptual thinking. Intermediate learners explore design development, material selection, circulation planning, and basic structural logic. Advanced learners focus on project organization, urban context, presentation techniques, and portfolio refinement. Each lesson encourages exploration while maintaining clarity and discipline in design thinking.

Architecture lessons help students become more observant, expressive, and confident in presenting ideas. Learners develop the ability to visualize spaces, articulate concepts, and refine creative intent. My goal is to support students in building a strong design identity grounded in thoughtful reasoning and technical awareness.
