About Yasmine

My passion for architecture began with an appreciation for how thoughtfully designed spaces influence human behavior and experience. This interest led me to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture followed by a Master’s degree in Urban and Sustainable Design. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students through the creative and technical challenges of architectural learning with patience and encouragement.

I believe architecture education should nurture creativity while providing clear structure. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand design logic, develop strong visual communication skills, and build confidence in their ideas. I adapt lessons to each learner’s needs, ensuring they feel supported throughout the design process.

Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architectural research, sustainability studies, and design exploration. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to provide students with meaningful real-world perspectives. Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I witness students grow into confident, thoughtful designers who can express ideas with clarity and purpose.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes engaging when students understand how ideas transform into functional, meaningful spaces. My lessons focus on design thinking, spatial reasoning, form development, material understanding, and visual communication. I help learners balance creativity with structure, guiding them to express concepts clearly while respecting functional and contextual requirements. Lessons encourage exploration and reflection, allowing students to refine their ideas with confidence and purpose.

Beginners focus on basic drawing skills, spatial proportion, conceptual sketches, and understanding form and space. Intermediate learners explore advanced drawing techniques, material application, site analysis, and design development processes. Advanced learners work on portfolio refinement, design narratives, project organization, and professional presentation skills. Each lesson is structured to build clarity while encouraging individual creative expression.

Architecture lessons also support personal growth, helping learners develop observation, imagination, and disciplined thinking. Students often become more confident in expressing ideas visually and conceptually. My goal is to help learners discover their creative voice while building strong technical and design foundations.
