About George
My name is George and I am qualified Part 2 Architect, RIBA certified. I have a broad range of experience from working on numerous imaginative university projects in a variety of media, from hand-drawing to computer rendering. In addition, I have so far worked professionally in two design practices across a range of projects that include residential, historic building re-development, mixed-use retail and exhibition design. Recently, demonstrating my interest in architectural theory, my masters thesis has been nominated for a RIBA President's Medal, one of the most coveted awards in UK architecture at university level.

My lessons are ideal for students who are about to begin an architecture qualification in the UK. As architecture is not taught at GCSE or A-Level, the transition to a undergraduate program can feel daunting. From my experience of attending one of the most renowned and challenging courses in the world at The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), I would be able to provide you will all of the information and preparatory steps to take over this summer for your first day at university. From building a portfolio, 3D modelling software, hand drawing and all of architecture's basic principles, I can help you in ensuring that you will feel confident at university.
My lesson lengths are flexible to your requirements, although 30 minutes to 1 hour is advised. GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14-18) are most suitable for this type of tutoring.
As well as completing my Bachelor of Science at UCL, I have recently graduated with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Greenwich with Distinction where my thesis has been nominated for a RIBA President's Medal. Furthermore, I have worked in commercial architecture practice and contributed to and designed an exhibition for The Venice
Biennale of Architecture.
