About Thea
My passion for Architecture was sparked by an early fascination with the interplay of space, function, and human experience. This led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, exploring both creative conceptualization and technical design. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students across different experience levels, guiding them to develop visual literacy, conceptual clarity, and professional design confidence.
I approach teaching with patience, adaptability, and personalized attention. Many learners initially feel daunted by balancing creativity with technical requirements, so I focus on structured guidance, iterative exercises, and constructive critique. I foster an environment that encourages exploration, risk-taking, and independent thinking, helping students cultivate both skill and confidence.
Beyond teaching, I engage with contemporary design trends, sustainable architecture studies, and project-based research, enriching lessons with practical insights and real-world relevance. Teaching Architecture is profoundly rewarding because I witness learners evolve from uncertainty to creative competence, mastering skills that enable them to express their ideas clearly and effectively while developing a unique professional voice.

Architecture becomes an inspiring subject when students learn to think critically about space, form, and function. My lessons focus on helping learners develop conceptual design abilities, spatial awareness, material understanding, and visualization techniques. Each session integrates sketching, modeling, design critique, and guided conceptual exercises to nurture creativity, technical precision, and professional design thinking. I emphasize iterative learning, encouraging experimentation and reflection to strengthen skill mastery and self-confidence.
Lesson structure is tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on foundational drawing, understanding proportion, and basic design principles. Intermediate learners explore advanced modeling techniques, spatial composition, and material application. Advanced learners refine presentation skills, portfolio development, design documentation, and conceptual analysis. Feedback, iterative improvement, and practical assignments are embedded to ensure students grow creatively and technically.
Architecture lessons develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and expressive communication. Students gain confidence articulating ideas visually, approaching design challenges strategically, and creating compelling work that reflects both imagination and technical understanding. My goal is to help learners build a strong creative identity while developing discipline, clarity, and innovative thinking necessary for long-term success in architectural practice.
