About Avantika
I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Urban Planning and Design, equipping me with both technical and creative expertise in architecture. Over 12 years of teaching, I have guided students at all levels, helping them refine design skills, build portfolios, and express creative ideas effectively. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, structured guidance, and interactive exploration. I combine step-by-step instruction, hands-on exercises, and conceptual discussion to support students in understanding both the theory and practical application of architecture. I encourage curiosity, experimentation, and self-expression throughout the learning process. Beyond teaching, I engage with urban design projects, sustainability research, and architectural analysis. Teaching architecture is rewarding because I witness learners transform concepts into tangible designs, develop confidence in spatial reasoning, and cultivate creativity that reflects both skill and personal vision.

Architecture becomes engaging when students learn how ideas transform into functional, beautiful spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial planning, drafting, model-making, sustainability considerations, and presentation skills. Beginners focus on basic sketching, proportion, composition, and design fundamentals. Intermediate learners explore advanced drawing techniques, 3D modeling, spatial analysis, and material selection. Advanced learners tackle comprehensive projects, portfolio development, and presentation strategies. Each lesson integrates applied tasks, design critique, and reflective discussion to foster both confidence and creativity.
Studying architecture cultivates spatial awareness, problem-solving, and creative expression. Students develop the ability to articulate ideas visually, design solutions to practical challenges, and approach creative projects with confidence.
