About Chloe

I completed a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Architectural Design, developing a deep appreciation for both creative exploration and technical discipline. Over 7 years of teaching experience, I have guided students in transforming ideas into structured, expressive designs. My teaching approach emphasises patience, encouragement, and clarity. I help students understand design logic while supporting their individual creative identity. Whether through sketches, discussions, or iterative feedback, I ensure learners feel guided and motivated. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with architecture through design analysis, sketching, and architectural research. These activities enrich my lessons and perspectives. Teaching architecture is meaningful to me because I witness students grow creatively and intellectually, gaining confidence in their ability to shape spaces with purpose.

About the lesson

My architecture lessons help students understand how creative ideas evolve into meaningful, functional spaces. I introduce core concepts such as design thinking, spatial organisation, proportion, material awareness, and visual communication in a calm and supportive environment. Lessons encourage creativity while emphasising structure, helping students balance imagination with logic and purpose. As learners progress, they explore sketching techniques, conceptual development, basic drafting, and design storytelling. Intermediate students refine spatial reasoning, model development, and visual presentation skills. Advanced learners focus on project organisation, portfolio development, and articulating design intent clearly. Each lesson is paced thoughtfully to encourage growth without pressure. Architecture lessons also nurture observation, creativity, and confidence. Many students become more expressive and thoughtful in their design choices. My goal is to help learners develop a strong design voice while building disciplined habits that support long-term creative growth.
