He is a passionate teacher. Beyond teaching, he has organized international art and architecture workshops, where he gained lots of experience. We actually met at one of those workshops. I believe that this background allows him to bring a broader and more inspiring perspective to his students.

I am his former student in Türkiye. I truly believe anyone learning from him on this platform will not only improve their skills, but also gain a new way of seeing and thinking about art, drawing and architecture. It was a pleasure for me to meet him.

I’ve known Cemil both as a colleague and a friend from our university years, and I can honestly say he brings a rare mix of passion and depth to everything he does. When he teaches, it’s never just about delivering information — he creates a space where people feel encouraged to think, experiment, and find their own voice.

Cemil is not only an excellent designer but also a master of drawing. I have first seen his drawings exhibited in a small hotel in a small town in Turkey before I even met him. There is always an intellectual background to the inspiring linework he creates. In addition to that, he’s a great thinker, an architecture scholar and above all a good person.
