About Harinee
Hi, I’m Harinee — a passionate dancer and teacher with over 15 years of experience in performing and choreographing. I specialize in semi-classical, folk, and Bollywood dance styles, blending tradition with expression and energy in every routine. My journey in dance began with Bharatanatyam, which gave me a strong foundation in rhythm, grace, and storytelling. I'm currently pursuing my Kathak degree, further expanding my understanding of classical movement and expression. Over the years, I’ve led college teams, choreographed for stage performances, and taught students across different age groups. Whether you're a beginner or someone returning to dance after a break, I create a warm and encouraging space where you can learn at your own pace, express yourself, and truly enjoy dancing. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to refine your style, my goal is to make you feel confident, connected, and inspired through movement.
Teaching Techniques & Methods
My approach combines:
Step-by-step choreography breakdowns for easy learning
Focus on expressions, body language, and grace
Rhythm training through repetition and beat counts
Creative interpretation of lyrics and music
Drills and flow techniques to improve coordination and stage presence
I ensure students not only learn the moves but also understand how to perform with emotion and energy — especially important in semi-classical and Bollywood styles.
