About Pippa
I’m a friendly and supportive person who understands how anxiety-inducing exams can feel. I’m passionate about understanding people as individuals and helping them overcome their own unique challenges with confidence.
I am currently an undergraduate student studying Education with Psychology and Counselling. After achieving 2 A*s and an A at A Level in Psychology, History and English Literature, I took a few years out to work in schools in my local area, which gave me valuable experience supporting students of different ages and abilities.
This journey has strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to connect with learners, and I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel supported and able to succeed.

I am a supportive and adaptable tutor, happy to work around your availability and tailor each lesson to your individual needs. Effective teaching goes beyond simply covering the exam requirements — it requires a clear understanding of each student’s current level and delivering content in a way that suits their learning style and goals.
While strong subject knowledge is essential, I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, as this is often where the biggest improvements in marks can be made.
I believe that practice is what turns understanding into results. Once the core content is truly secure, we will focus on applying knowledge through targeted exam questions, structured practice, and regular feedback to build confidence and exam readiness. Whether you are studying GCSE or A Level, I will help you develop the skills, understanding, and confidence needed to succeed.
