About Jhanvi

Hi, I am Jhanvi. I have completed my Master's in psychology with First division. I have specialised in clinical and counselling psychology and my major interest areas are neuropsychology, psychological testing, research, cognitive psychology and social psychology.
I can also assist you in writing research paper if you are someone who wishes to dive deep in the subject.
Since it is a growing field and is really interesting. I prefer interactive learning, as the key to better understanding.
I am open to impart my knowledge of almost 7 years of the subject, to help you learn better.
Also I like engaging and interacting with people about such topic which helps me increase my knowledge too. As knowledge is beyond books, no one is capable of summing it up in 200 or 400 or 800 pages.
It is endless, and the lessons learnt outside the books are bigger and more effective on us.

About the lesson

I prefer teaching through flow charts and short notes as they help in effective learning and better memorisation in comparison to raw paragraph text.
I would start from basics and refer all good books with more vast content to the student.
I would also provide my own notes. But first I would like the student to make good efforts.
Psychology is a theory subject but understanding it like a story makes it more interesting.
Examples and case studies would be highly inculcated for better understanding.
I would also give assignments to test the student's understanding of the subject matter, and invoke critical thinking.
