About Kerry

My name is Kerry, I am a final year Applied Language and Translation Studies student currently researching machine translation and colloquialisms. I work part-time as a receptionist and teach English and Spanish online. I have 4 years of experience teaching online. I really enjoy witnessing students' progress and growth in language proficiency. From students mastering basic vocabulary to fluently conversing in a foreign language, each milestone achieved by them is a testament to my dedication as a language teacher.

About the lesson

- I begin by assessing the language level of my student and establishing clear learning objectives for each session and overall learning goals. - I believe in interactive teaching methods that encourage active participation from the student. This may involve asking open-ended questions, facilitating discussions, and engaging in problem-solving activities to promote critical thinking and deeper understanding. - I provide constructive feedback throughout the learning process, highlighting areas of improvement and celebrating successes.
