About Ziqi
I am studying Bachelor of Science (advanced) at the ANU. I have been playing violin for more than 10 years and viola for 3 years. I did ATAR Music in Western Australia and was awarded with ATAR Music Top Viola Performance scholarship. I was playing viola in the WA Youth Orchestra in 2019. I’m currently playing viola in the ANU orchestra.
Furthermore, I love music and I want to share my passion of music to anyone who want to know about it! It’s never too late to start playing music!

My teaching method is Suzuki for beginners and choose pieces that students personally like (e.g Harry Porter theme music). I will also give students some exercise for practising particular technique. I will also teach AMEB if students would like some challenge and want to test their skills. Furthermore, I will introduce you the background and analysis of each piece before you start learning it.
I base my classes on the student's progress, making plans and setting up targets before each lesson. I might be strict on the student’s technique but always friendly to them because I know it feels bad to be blamed!
