About Pauline
Hello! I am an anthropologist from Belgium and native French speaker. I have been teaching UCL undergraduates for 3 years, and also do private tutoring in French. I have experience teaching children, young adults and professionals. I have extensive training in teaching (through TAP from Higher Education UK learning programme). I am passionate about teaching and always looking for new students!

I use active learning in my teaching. I have experience teaching tutorials to undergraduates, in which I explain difficult concepts at length and unpack them with the student through practical application of theory to news items / examples from everyday life. I also use object-learning and visualisation techniques. I make sure my students leave the class with a complete, inside and out understanding of the material, and are able to generate their own sets of questions and analyses from it.
