Hi there! I’m Charl, a passionate 3D animation specialist and fellow gaming and animation enthusiast. I hold a diploma in Animation Development from The Animation School and have been working in the creative and e-learning industries since 2019, with hands-on experience in animation, rigging, modeling, and multimedia design. What sets me apart is my ability to make complex concepts feel approachable. I stay up to date with the latest industry trends and love experimenting with new tools and technologies. My goal is to help students not only understand the fundamentals of 3D but to also explore their own creative voice. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I bring a patient, encouraging teaching style that supports growth, builds confidence, and keeps learning exciting. Animation is more than a skill—it’s a form of expression. And I’m here to help you make something amazing with it.

My tutoring approach is highly personalized and hands-on. I begin by assessing each student’s current knowledge of 3D animation, rigging, or modeling, and tailor my lessons to suit their individual learning style and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine and advance your skills, I adapt my teaching to meet you where you are.
Lessons are project- and example-based, with a strong focus on practical application. I believe students learn best by doing, so we’ll work through real-world examples and creative challenges that build both confidence and capability. I encourage questions and critical thinking, fostering a relaxed, supportive environment where curiosity and experimentation are welcome.
I offer lessons in English and Afrikaans, and I’m comfortable teaching high school learners, university students, or adult learners who are passionate about animation and want to grow their technical and artistic abilities.
Students can expect structured yet flexible sessions, each building on the last, and always with space for feedback and exploration.
