About Antonia
I am currently a working professional and full-time doctoral student working in the NHS as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist. I want to help and teach others outside of my role in an academic capacity. I bring my knowledge and experience of Psychology (both academically and practically) to help teach psychological theories, approaches and research methods. I previously worked as a psychology research assistant and a postgraduate teaching assistant at the University of Exeter for over 3 years. I have experience marking psychology undergraduate coursework and teaching tutorials, practicals and workshops. I’ve had an international upbringing and thereby moved between schools, countries and curriculums. This led to me undergoing the International Baccalaureate at ACS Egham, graduating in 2015 and going on to study at Masters level at the University of Exeter. I’m available to tutor students from diverse backgrounds and understand when the pressure to perform is high and your outcome is predictive of future career development. I enjoy playing football, running and living a healthy lifestyle. Physical health and mental health are just as important to academic performance and I encourage you to feed those components into your studying.

My lessons are co-designed with you to identify your needs and preferred learning style. Interactive approach making sure you can teach back to me what I teach you, have fun with it and most importantly understand the content. Offering tutoring on weekends or weekday evenings, can do 1hr/ 1.5hr or 2hr lessons and flexible on the frequency of lessons. First lesson will be a chance to get to know each other, your psychology area of interest/ learning need, as well as co-design to your learning style.
