I am 44 and have been teaching for a couple of years. I have a degree in Health Sciences for Complementary Medicine and have completed my PGCE .I have worked in a variety of care settings including an acute psychiatric ward, an elderly mentally ill ward, a home for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, as well as on a stroke and medical ward in a general hospital. I have lived in Germany, Spain, and Finland as well as England. I currently teach at a local college, where I deliver on a BTEC level 3 Health and Social Care course , Access to HE (Health) course, and Foundation Degree courses for Health and Social care, and Early years practitioner courses. I work well with people who like to have a practical application for their learning, and can utilise my extensive range of work experiences to provide practical examples of where the information they are learning may be useful in a real world context.
