I’m deeply passionate about geology, geography, and meteorology because they give me a fulfilling sense of understanding the Earth we live on. Hi, I’m Anand — your tutor for Geology, Geography, Meteorology, and the broader Earth Sciences. I hold a master’s degree in geology, have over seven years of tutoring experience, and am qualified through the State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor in Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences. I teach Earth Science across major global and Indian curricula, including Cambridge IGCSE, IB, AP, A-Levels, GCSE, CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, NGSS (US High School), California A–G Requirements, AA-T Geography (US Transfer Program), Australian Curriculum, Canadian Provincial Boards, and Middle-East International School Boards. My teaching approach is unique. I believe students learn best when they solve problems independently, while I guide them through the process. I begin by asking questions about the problem and how the student plans to approach it, then tailor my teaching strategy accordingly. I keep sessions interactive, often using diagrams and drawings to build strong conceptual understanding. During live sessions, I ask follow-up questions to ensure the student is engaged and truly grasping the concepts. My sessions typically run for one hour with a 5-minute break to help students stay fresh and focused. I also offer assignment assistance, always respecting academic integrity. I do not help with live quizzes or tests. While supporting assignments, I make sure the student works through the solutions, and I only guide them conceptually. I can teach in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
