About Jasmine
A dedicated and reliable tutor who received early entry to study the Bachelor of Music at The University of Melbourne (Conservatorium of Music - 2025) This year, I will be commencing a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Melbourne, majoring in Accounting and Finance, which will further strengthen my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. These skills directly inform my teaching, particularly in helping students develop clear structure, logical reasoning, and precision in their work. My AMEB piano lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level and exam goals. I teach students preparing for AMEB Piano examinations up to Grade 8, with a strong focus on developing secure technique, musical understanding, and confident performance.
Lessons emphasise exam requirements, including technical work, repertoire, sight-reading, aural skills, and musical expression. I break skills down into manageable steps, set clear weekly goals, and provide detailed feedback to help students improve efficiently and consistently.
Each lesson is carefully planned and typically 60 minutes in length, combining technical development with repertoire work. I place importance on effective practice strategies so students know how to practise productively between lessons. I aim to create a positive and professional learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and well-prepared to perform at their best in AMEB examinations.
