About Daniel
Language learning is a commitment. It takes time, patience, and effort.
Throughout the last 8 years I was living in Japan, I went from absolute beginner in Japanese to being able to achieve conversational fluency. It didn't happen overnight and took a lot of effort. I've trudged through extensive vocab lists, notecards, apps, textbooks, supplemental materials, teachers, friends, neighbors, podcasts, shadowing and all of the ups and downs of acquiring conversational Japanese to help give you real-world advice as to what could work with your learning style and to ultimately achieve your language learning goals.
Living in Japan also exposed me to cultural practices, nuances, and accents that conventional textbooks won't be able to offer.
