About Bryn

My primary professional identity is as a dancer and movement artist. I am currently dancing with Hollywood Ballet under the leadership of Petra Conti. As a movement artists, I am interested in growing my network to see where my unique insight can be of service to others who wish to express themselves through movement. I hold a BA in Theatre from the University of Southern California, where I was a frequent editor of friends' papers and guest star in their student films. Other formative experiences at USC included performing classical theatre in London and completing the Thematic Option Honors Program. This alternative General Education stream was ideal for my curious brain while I was taking a break from ballet: classes across disciplines were focused around themes and structured by discussions and in-depth writing projects. My interest in themes and interdisciplinary study led me to take many upper and lower level courses in Psychology before deciding to focus my elective course-load on training at the newly-formed USC Kaufman School of Dance. My desire to support (and understand!) live performance behind-the-scenes enabled me to worked in house management, technical production, and ultimately production management for Bovard Auditorium. All of these experiences made me a more organized, confident, and clear communicator as a I moved into my professional dance career. To complement my work in dance performance, I earned my American Ballet Theatre Affiliate Teacher Certification in 2020 and have worked as a ballet teacher for the past five years serving students aged 18 months - 60+ years. As a dance teacher and movement artist I strive for technical precision and musicality as means to enhance human expression and connectivity. I am a curious collaborator with deep knowledge of the human body as an artistic instrument and a desire to respect and support my fellow humans with my every action.
