About Lida
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is a journey of creativity, skill, and personal expression. My teaching approach focuses on clear communication, patience, and adaptability to each student’s needs and goals.
I design lessons that develop strong fundamentals such as finger technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and hand coordination while gradually introducing advanced techniques. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to ensure students gain a well-rounded musical understanding.
I make lessons engaging and practical through song-based practice, creative exercises, and performance opportunities. My strength lies in simplifying complex concepts and helping students stay motivated, confident, and consistent.
I also emphasise developing effective practice habits to ensure steady progress. My ultimate goal is to provide a supportive, positive, and inspiring environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their musical ambitions.

I follow a student-centred, creative, and flexible teaching methodology. I believe piano lessons should be motivating, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals and abilities. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and musical interests, which allows me to design lessons that are engaging, personalised, and inspiring.
Creativity is at the core of my teaching. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose original pieces, and experiment with different musical styles, fostering artistic confidence and developing a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, creating a positive and productive learning experience.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This integrated methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My goal is to guide students to become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
