About Ava
I'm a soon-to-be college graduate but I've been sewing for five years. My passion for alterations began with a passion for fashion ever since I can remember. As I got older, however, I realized not many clothes were meant for short women such as myself (I'm 4'10!). So, I apprenticed with a professional tailor for a few years before starting my own alterations and repair business on my college campus. I've worked with hundreds of students for a variety of garments from jeans to prom dresses-- even backpacks!
I hope to make tailored clothes accessible to everyone, as well as pass down the wonderful skill of "doing it yourself" to any who love it like I do.
