I have taught many musicians over the last 10 years, with ages from 7 up to 50 complete beginner to advanced. i like to ask and assess each student by what they would like to achieve from the lessons and figure out the best way to provide that to them. I also have my own course material with sheets that can help the students. I like to teach alot more by ear and technique than music Theory
