About Rabindra
Born in a family with parents having great inclination and devotion towards Indian music. I started learning Tabla under the able guidance of my father Shri Santosh Karmakar, an exponent of "Dilli Gharana" at the age of seven. I then had the privilege to be the disciple of late Pt. Ram Dhurvey a doyen of famous Dilli Gharana and also took advance training from Pt.Mukund Bhale, a tabla player of international repute & HOD (department of percussions) Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, khairagarh. I have completed ‘Sangeet Prabhakar’ from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and M.Mus. Postgraduate Degree from Khairagarh Music University.

- I have personalized classes for all age groups and levels. - Every class will consist of guidance with respect to technique, studying various styles of tabla playing, and assignments for strengthening overall musicality. - I love to work with my students through all kinds of questions and doubts. Helping them make fundamental concepts strong with simple methods. - I like to carefully observe and analyze each individual student and help them with their weaknesses and finding strengths which can be developed further.
