About Alex

I’ve always been a teacher! After completing my Physics degree I went straight into teacher training and never looked back. I enjoy motivating students and helping them form good habits for life. Many students now enter the British Physics Olympiad at my current school and the majority of students I teach go on to read Physics, Engineering or Natural Sciences. Outside of school I enjoy running, squash, walks in nature and spending time with my family.

About the lesson

I try and look at the big picture first then build up slowly. Keeping it relevant and interesting is always important but equally it’s imperative to hone your exam technique and learn the ability to monitor your own progress.
