I just graduated from the University of Warwick with a high 2:1 BA (Hons) in philosophy. At A-level I studied Christian philosophy and ethics, economics, and business studies, finishing AAB. I am currently interning in a Church for the Church of England.

Assuming that you are a GCSE/A-level student, we will adhere closely to the specification and the highest sections of the mark scheme of your exam board. In our first meeting, depending on where you are in the course, we can discuss any areas of the specification with which you are struggling, perhaps from the beginning. If we start our meetings early on in the course, we can work through the specification together, likely in the order that you are taught.
We will work together to ensure that you properly understand the material that you are learning from the specification, and not just memorising it at surface level. This is crucial in writing confident, convincing answers. We will firstly examine the material in an explicit, descriptive manner. Then we shall ask more probing questions; what is being suggested by this perspective? What is being presumed in this material? How does it relate to closely surrounding material?
Lastly, I will ask whether you agree or disagree with the material, and why. I will challenge your answers, and make suggestions. As noted, this will be wholly in accordance with the mark scheme.
