About Albina

Привет! I'm Albina :) I have always loved the Russian language and been inspired by it. That’s why when an opportunity arose to teach an adult class in a community school here in Perth, I eagerly got engaged there. While working with a class, I mastered my ways to teach people of various ages, various cultural, social and professional backgrounds and, of course, various levels of Russian from beginners to advanced. Later on with some students we organized a Russian speaking club, where we would meet in an informal environment and learn the language and culture through fun real-life conversations, playing board games, watching movies, and hands-in cooking classes. I also picked up private tutoring to provide a more precise and tailored learning experience. Learning Russian unlocks a vast realm of connections with over 250 million Russian speakers across the globe being one of the top 10 spoken languages and Russia being a world leader in several important industries. All this makes Russian language one of the most valuable skills for travel, business, cultural exchange, and even gaming! Learning Russian is easier than people think and I am here to help you!

About the lesson

I am a native speaker and I am happy to teach you Russian in a fun and simple way. I have experience teaching in a class environment as well as privately (both in-person and online). It's true that grammar is an essential part of every lesson, but don't worry! - I know how to make it interesting. With me you will also learn useful vocabulary (including internet slang and memes), everyday grammar structures as well as general cultural knowledge. I am very patient and always give my students an opportunity to shine before offering them guidance or help. It doesn't matter what level you are; I will make an individual plan of study for every student.
