About Aidan

I have experience with government at the local, state, and federal levels. I served with Congressman Swalwell (CA-14) as an advisor on youth issues pertaining to his constituency. I spent a year with Alameda County Supervisor Haubert as an intern, specifically focusing on community outreach and organizing the support for endorsees of his office. At the local level, I served my school district as a representative of my school, giving speeches to the Board of Trustees. I'm able to be well organized with our lessons and watch our progress, and if we have some extra time I wouldn't mind spinning some political or historical theories to keep it engaging! A little about me is I'm originally from the Bay Area, I love watching sports (football, basketball, baseball), and I would love the opportunity to teach others about our civic institutions and history!

About the lesson

This isn't just about a grade or passing high school, but an opportunity. I want to help you ace a class but at the same time better your understanding on the significance of the Red Scare or how Congress helps you! First, I'd sit down and get to know you a bit, because this is supposed to be an experience first and foremost. Through our conversations I'll take what I learned about you like your hobbies or interests and apply them to our lessons, so I can help you understand things, in your terms! Lesson plans can be however you want them to, it's catered to your learning style :)
