Hi everyone

My names Chris and i am an absolute guitar nerd!!!

i specialize in more rock and heavy metal playing and techniques but am well enough adept to focus and breakdown many genres. You can see in the video ive added what style i normally play in, but again i can play in any so dont be worried if its not your cup of tea :)

I have been playing the guitar since the age of 16, so now at the old age of 32 :) have a fair amount of experience and time invested. I have a B.AHons in music and performance and spent many years touring the globe, depping for metal bands and teaching aspiring guitarists.

After having some amazing, yet awful teachers who didn't understand what i wanted, how i learnt or how i absorbed information in the best way possible, i have made it my mission to make learning the guitar as easy and rewarding as it can be. It should always be fun and i always focus on whats best for my students and there personal progression!

I personally struggled learning and hated school, so know how it feels to be stuck or not making progress, i know how it feels to have a world class teacher, yet still feel im not being heard or not being shown or given the proper tools to move forward. But that stops here and now with me if you will have me.

i also believe the bond between student and teacher is the first big hurdle. So the first hour will be free and more of a consultation to meet me, see were you are at and if you feel comfortable that i am the right teacher for you.

lets have fun! lets learn guitar and lets make the most of this gift that we have been given called life.

About the lesson

For me music is supposed to be fun and self rewarding!
So with this in mind, i have always focused on making sure we keep the love of the instrument and music in the for front.

I will pre write lesson plans and week to week set targets and monthly goals to keep track of were we are. With this we will get the absolute most out of our time together and your money. i will also email you the lesson content and a summary of what we have gone through plus some bonus material if you smash what you've been set.

i am also available for my students 7 days a week, so never feel stuck or confused again, drop me a message and ill get right back to you :)

i also feel we all need to learn how to set up and look after our guitars, so once a month i will set up your instrument for free (apart from the strings, that on you) depending on your play style and teach you what to do, in tern saving you £50 each time and if you really like it maybe get you making some money of your m8s :P
